Free Dental Implants

You will need an implant when you have lost a tooth in an accident. There are several people who have slipped and fallen, or had a car accident or just a case of physical violence and they end up losing a tooth. In some circumstances it could be that the tooth was infected and the cavity just got bigger and bigger until the tooth couldn’t be saved by any dentist.

Once you lose a tooth you have to get it replaced with a dental implant or else the other teeth will slowly start moving and occupy the space left by the tooth. This will lead to further problems in the future for your jaw line. Your speech could be affected because the teeth are not aligned well. The overall structure of your face might change and with that the way you look. This will have an effect on your confidence and self esteem. In these circumstances dental implants can be your answer.

Dental implant is a prosthetic that is fitted in place of the missing tooth. This will help in the functionality as it will work just like the original tooth and also in the cosmetic arena. This is a permanent solution to your dental concern of tooth loss.

The Average price for dental implants that you will end up paying depends on several factors. They can be anywhere from $1500 to $3000. The price of dental implants can go up more than this depending on the dentist, the clinic and the other infrastructure that is on offer. This is quite a bit of money and not everyone will be in a position to pay this for a lost tooth.

Moreover, there are no dental insurance companies that accept the payment for this treatment as it gets clubbed as a cosmetic procedure. This might sound unfair but this is the policy that the dental companies follow.

The next option you will think of is where do I get free dental implants? You can find this at the local hospitals and clinics where student dentists do need patients to hone their dentistry skills. Do not worry as there is a full-fledged dentist in attendance who supervises this procedure. Even though this might not be completely free the price is substantially reduced and you might end up paying an extremely negligible amount.

There are several people out there who are looking for free dental implants. However, you need to beware as you might end up paying something for them finally.

Before you jump at the thought of having finally found a place that offers you free dental implants see that you consider the pros and cons carefully. This is quite an expensive and time consuming procedure. Also the dentist needs to have enough expertise in order to perform the dental implant according to the expected outcome.

If the dental implant is done carefully they will last you throughout your life. However, if a novice has done it then you will end up paying more in the long run. Lots of people have jumped at the thought of free dental implants and discovered to their chagrin that it is not a reality but a far-fetched myth.

A good idea would be to do your homework well enough so that you do not regret it later. Ask around and see what others have to say. Talk to patients and customers who have had the free dental implant fixed at this clinic. You could also do a check on the doctor and his credentials by contacting the Dental Association to find out what record the dentist holds.

Once you have been able to narrow down on the right clinic and dentist that offers you free dental implants you do not need to worry. As in this procedure there is only the financial bit that can be taxing otherwise there are plenty of plus factors such as it is not painful, the bone mass is stopped, it has a high success rate based on the new technology used and they can make you look much better. They certainly are a radical and ground-breaking idea.

There are several dentists who although might not offer you the dental implant absolutely free they will give you a hard to resist discount. Once you compare the original price with the one that you actually have to pay you will be stumped by the amount of money you have got to save.

Another option could be to club your dentistry needs with a vacation. If you were to travel to other cheaper countries such as Hungary, India you will get the dental implants at a price which will almost sound free.

There has been many a person who has fallen prey to advertising teasers and marketing gimmicks and ended up paying more then what they would have eventually paid for. Therefore read the fine print properly and see that you have a written agreement with the doctor. What your dentist might mean by a free dental implant is the first consultation visit being absolutely free.

At the same time there are companies which manufacture these prosthetics that give them away to dentists in order to increase their market reach. These companies give these away for free so that the dentists will buy more of these once they have worked with them and used them.

Try and ask your dentists as many questions as possible before you sit yourself down in the dentist’s chair. A dental implant procedure does not get over in one sitting. It has several sittings and stages involved, If there is only one dentist who can perform the entire dental implant then the cost will be minimal rather than several specialist dentists attending to you for different stages.

Even after you are promised a free dental implant ensure that you ask another dentist for a second opinion or shop around for the best possible deal that you can clinch for yourself.

A clinic that specializes only in dental implants when compared to a general dentist’s clinic will have several discounts and at times free dental implants to offer too. The prices out here will be certainly cheaper than at a general dentist’s clinic.

Look for locations. Dental implant clinics that are not located in the center of town are cheaper than the ones located in town. They too need to take the cost of real estate into consideration.

Hear of all the treatment options from your dentist before you decide on it. Each treatment will have a different price. Try and negotiate the price with your dentist. You will be surprised at the deal you can walk away with. Remember to generate a win-win situation out of this.

So remember that in case after thorough research you realize that the price is too little for dental implants then there is something fishy.

I never thought that my teeth would look bad at my age. I'm 46yrs old and my teeth are coming out one by one at the bottom front. It has changed my look and since they are loose, I can't chew my food up like I'm suppose to. This has cause me a problem relieving myself by being constipated more than usual. I would like to have dental implants and crowns because of several rotten teeth plus some basic dental work. I can be reached at 252-406-3557 to elaborate more. The work that need to be done cost alot and I don't make much money and my insurance barely covers my basic procedures.

You should say what city, state & lg city you are close to so someone might be able to help. In Dallas, TX the Dentistry School charges about 80% of regular dentists, will not give you credit, and has a backlog waiting list of over a year and is currently not adding anyone. I checked Dallas Ministries & several others will help you out with low or income based emergency teeth pulling for a reduced fee, and does more for children. But most children here have CHIP or medicaid that come with DentaQuest anyway. Dallas has lots of things for regular children. Dallas is really bad for helping disabled or low income in the 12,500-16,000 range) with any help, even though their housing costs & insurances may be over 50% of what they get. They also need food, gas, clothing, personal items, household items (laundry, shampoo, cleaners, etc,) payments on debts they borrowed to try to get to next mo, doc & lab copays, prescriptions, & medicines (can't afford D cov),emergencies like slab leaks costing thousands of dollars, broken pipes, repairmen, etc. And I take care of my mentally disabled son who all the doctors where wrong growing up saying he would grow out of the behaviors when I kept asking for a formal & full evaluation, and all lied on his progress notes for years which kept me from getting the help I needed till I got the Soc Sec Admin when he was over 18 yrs. to get them as they all refused to give them to me before. (I spent upteen hours researching internet, college textbooks, psycharitic sites, Mental illness organizations, the DSM-IV,etc, also I spent over twenty something hours a week as the schools would not follow the IEP and my son became so withdrawn, anxiety ridden and took it out on me as he had no release because he knew they would take him to jail as they had it for him because they did not understand him and did not care to. The counselor told me to let him go to jail, the truant officer refused to take off the missed classes when I showed him proof he was there & the teacher signed off on his monitoring form and homework and I had to go to court but was not going to put him through that for for ignorant people that just wanted to harass us. The speech pathologist yelled at him when he just shrugged his shoulders, or said he didn't know or wasn't looking at her (1. disorder is Asperger's Syndrome, (which is a natural behavior for people with that disorder) along with BiPolar, Adhd, Social Anxiety Disorder, "mood disorder", Circadian Sleep Disorder, Asthma). I would love to have the 2 crowns I need and and implant! But since my best ex-friend while I was in Depression and lots of anxiety doing the above, said she would help me and get me a little more money too. All I had to do was be her banker type and take several large cash advances, use my hardware store cards, and take a large home equity credit/mtg on my house and she promised to repay every penny plus 13.5% interest, first before anything else. She said would be able to pay me back in six months, then in 1 yr and I kept telling her I could not afford it, but she kept telling me how great friends we were since our kids were in 1st grade, and she was going to help me, & she will get another loan by 6mo, then before 1 yr but never did. (I need the people on "leverage" TV Show to get her to give me the money owed for my heath tests and treatment as I am in chronic pain daily, breathing problems whenever I do standing or walking or bending, and will probably die a lot sooner and my son will have to be a ward of the state since he cannot take care of himself. And she does not even care.

Thanks Dr Ritz for advice and information about dental implants.

Hi RUTHIE,Get in touch with a local school of dentistry.Often, dental schools look for volunteers to train their students to perform dental procedures, such as dental implant surgery. The students will be assisted by a licensed professional at all times. The best part is that the university will cover the cost of the procedure.Or you can contact your state's dental society about qualifying for free dental implants. If you qualify for charitable care, the dental society can refer you to a dentist who can perform the dental implant procedure for free or at a greatly reduced rate.Hope this helps.Keep us updated.Good luck!

Dear CHERLYN SIMPSON, For free dental treatment you can visit a nearby dental school. Though the treatment there is done by budding dentists but it is under the strict supervision of experts. Also you can take the help of CARE CREDIT. Under this scheme, company pays for your whole treatment and you can return the money in easy monthly installments.

I am a 46 yr old female disabled veteran. Because of unscrupulous dental practice I got suckered and now I have 5 teeth and a broken denture left. I have come to find that no teeth is a deal breaker and people are so cruel. If there is anyone that has the heart to help me out with implants so that my life can means something and as such I can still serve our us veterans voluntary which is always important to me. I would appreciate any suggestions. It's hard to see through the tears in my eyes and I have never asked someone to help me. But, I would like a chance at a good life. Thanks for your consideration and time...PEACE! Note... This is the 645 website that I have call and emailed so I am trying my hardest to find a saint with a hard of gold and the understanding of my plight, but I realize that everyone has a story! Take care.

Dear BRENDA, No doubt your brother requires an immediate dental treatment but since you are short of money so i would suggest you to get the treatment done through dental schools. Though the treatment there is done by budding dentists but is under the strict supervision of senior and much experience surgeons. Also the cost of treatment there is very less or may be free as compared to private practitioners. Another option is that you can take the help of CARE CREDIT. Under this scheme the company pays for your whole treatment and you can return the money to them in easy monthly installments.

my brother was in a motorcycle accident and several of his teeth are damaged at the root. We are looking into dental implants. But he is a recently discharged Afghanistan/Iraq Army Veteran who is not currently employed, so his money is very limited. Please s there anyone who can help us?

Dear Lurene Cornelius, Ideally implants are meant for old age people whose bone aren't strong enough to support dentures but they are bit costly. so if you can't afford the treatment then you can opt for CARE CREDIT where the company pays for your whole treatment and you can return back the money to them in easy monthly installments. Or you can visit a nearby dental school where the treatment though is done by budding dentists but is under the supervision of experts. The cost is very less in dental schools.

Hello: I am 75 year old woman. I have been singing all my life and my smile is very important to me. In 2003 I had my two front teeth crowned, as they had decay and were ugly. I was so proud of them. At that time I was working, so had some insurance to pay. Now I am very low income and find myself with both of the teeth (and crowns) broken, one extracted & last week the other tooth broke at the gumline and I have exposed roots. I don't know if I am a candidate for implants; have heard it is very painful, but would very much appreciate hearing of a professional (who uses nitrous) who would help me. I have many talents and would be willing to work to help with repayment. I live in Prague, Oklahoma. Thank you!

All of my husband's teeth are missing or deteriorated due to methamphetamine use. He has been clean for several years and would like all his teeth replaced. This would dramaticly change his life. His bad mouth affects his health, self-esteem, job prospects, personal relationships, etc. What are some cost-effective options we should look into?

I'm on disability and have lost 2 of my teeth on my right side on the top. Are there any dental student that would like to replace my teeth. i have my own transportation and live in NC.

Posted By : Dr.Ritz on 02-May-2012 11:42 PM
Carolyn, you can get implants at comparatively low cost from nearby dental schools where everything is done by budding dentists and you don't need to worry about perfection as the procedure will be done under the strict supervision of experienced faculty. Else you can seek help of CARE CREDIT, that gives you the option of paying in easy monthly installments.
