The bottom edges of my two front teeth have apparently "cupped." Basically, its like I've lost part of the bottom edge of my two front teeth. The back is uneven and its really really transparent. Like you can clearly see it black compared to the rest of the tooth because it is much thinner than the rest. Its been progressively becoming worse and more noticeable. Is there a way to prevent further deterioration. And at my next dentist appointment can it be treated? Is there a procedure to fill this loss? Many Thanks! Sincerely Daniel

  • The cupping of teeth is basically the wearing of the teeth which can be there either because of tooth grinding or bruxism or it can be due to traumatic bite. Before getting the treatment done you have to find out the cause of the wearing. After removal of this cause you can go for treatment which can range from composite built up to veneers or dental crowns. The treatment depends on extent of wearing.
