Tooth #13 has a filling with a cavity underneath that's close to the nerve. If I don't do it I'll have to do a root canal. Reason I'm writing is that I have total anxiety and fear of the novicane shot. What do I say to my dentist so that the discomfort is less? Please advise

  • If you got the shot before then you should not have anxiety or fear of the anaesthesia shot. Still you can ask your dentist to use the topical anaesthetic agent like spray or gel so that you will not feel the shot. if you are very anxious then you can get the work done under nitrous odxide. You can discuss with your dentist. For more info on local anaesthesia you can visit the following link on our website .......
