Bad pain
By Amanda 2/1/2010 8:22:08 PM
I got my tooth extracted 3 days ago... my second molar, and the pain has not gotten any better. Perhaps, it might even be worse. There is still a little blood coming out and yellow watery fluid. My jaw is very sore, tender and swollen. Over the counter pain relievers and tramadol are not helping my pain at all. My dentist won't be in until tomorrow and I don't what to do about the pain.

You have not mentioned whether the extraction was simpler or bone cutting has to be done.If it was a simple extraction then after third day the pain should be less. if it is still bleeding and is painning then may be yoiu have develpoed the dry socet but that can be ascertained only after seeing the case clinically. You should visit your dentist who will see the case and do the treatment accordingly.if there is some infection then antibotics will be given and if dry socket then he will clean the wound and give the dressing. if you want to know more about the tooth extraction and dry socket you can visit the following link on our website.......http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-tooth-extraction-27.aspx
