Dentures
By Kristina 1/27/2010 8:22:55 PM
I have Lupus the autoimmune disease. It has completely destroyed my teeth. I am 24 years old and in two weeks have to remove 6 of my teeth. I received a quote for 3500. to fix my other cavities and teeth. I was not assured that in six months or even a year if they will hold or if my teeth will stay in. Do you recommend speaking to a dentist about dentures. My mouth is constantly in pain.

Yes, definitely before going for the treatment you should ask the dentist about the condition of the other teeth as in case of Lupus the gums are most effected and if one does not take very good care then one can loose teeth in no time. I do not know the cndition of your other teeth. Your dentist after taking the X-ray'sand doing the clinical examination can tell you about the approx. time they are going to last and accordingly you can take the decision. if you want to know more about other dental topics you can browse our website.
