There are many reasons behind tooth pain. Few of them are:
-
Gum Problems: Treatment for this is to get professional cleaning done and then follow proper brushing techniques as given in the link....http://www.identalhub.com/article_why-do-we-need-to-brush-our-teeth-156.aspx
-
Tooth Grinding: Many a times patient comes with the complaint of tooth pain and the common reason comes out to be night grinding or bruxism. Treatment for this is wearing a mouth guard while sleeping. To know more about bruxism visit the link...http://www.identalhub.com/article_diagnosing-and-curing-bruxism-13.aspx
-
Acute trauma: Any trauma to the teeth can be linked with dental pain
-
Improper brushing technique/oral habits: Brushing with a hard tooth brush or brushing vigorously can also cause tooth to loosen out thereby causing pain. Treatment for this is changing tooth brush to soft bristles.
