By Natalie 11/17/2012 3:13:02 AM
I just read about lightweight dentures. My dentist never mentioned this option to me. Also, I saw the partial dentures have a clear color at the roof of them Do the lightweight full upper offer this? I want to approach my dentist about lightweight dentures. Does a special lab need to be used? What is the cost of the lightweight dentures? Please get back to me Asap for my surgery is in December. Thank you, Natalie Crawford

Lightweight skeleton dentures leave the roof of your mouth clear so that you can still taste your food and so that there is nowhere for debris to collect when you eat.The metal conducts heat so that you get the correct temperature sensation from the food in your mouth and the clasps grip your teeth tightly so that the dentures stay ?rmly put when you chew sticky food. The cost of a denture depends on the type of base material used and the quality of the teeth used. The cheapest teeth, wear rapidly, chip and look poor after a short period of time. The very best teeth are all porcelain which are very expensive but look excellent. In between there are many extremely good acrylic teeth to choose from. The cost will be between £800 and £1000.
