Moving Tooth
By ALi 3/8/2010 7:52:34 PM
One of my lower tooth had been hurting really bad for the past couple of days. When I checked it, the tooth is moving a bit. I remembered that my childhood dentist once told me that a natural tooth is much better than implants. Thus, is there any other treatment for my moving tooth other than removing it? Thank you for the response.

Yes, you are right. it is always better to save the natural tooth if it can be saved. You have to find out the cause of the mobility. If it is because of the gum problem and there is the bone loss then the gum treatment is needed and if the mobility is because of infection which can be because of decay, then root canal treatment is advised. You have to visit your dentist to find out the options. You can go for splinting also.
