Nausea after tooth extraction

By Louis 7/28/2011 10:54:41 AM
My tooth came out about 7 days go at home. It bleed some and almost instantly I felt intense nausea that hasn't subsided. I have vomitted a couple times and had diarrhea for the full 7 days as well. I have had headaches, and fatigue/weakness. I'm mostly concerned about the nausea and am wondering if my symptoms are indicating some sort of infection that I should seek medical care for. Please consult at your earliest. Thank you for your time.

You have not written whether you are taking any meds or not. The tooth which has come out itself must be infected and that is why it has come out. Nausea and vomitting can be due to meds you are taking. Due to infection normally there is pain and swelling and fever can also be there with lethargy and dizziness. So it is better not to delay the things and go to dentist, who will do clinical examination and take proper history and diagnose the problem. for more info on tooth extraction you can read this article... http://www.identalhub.com/article_do's-and-don'ts-after-tooth-extraction-153.aspx
