The temporary crowns can be ucomfortable as it is not properly adusted but if it is paining then may be it is high. You can visit the dentist and get it adjusted as it will cause trauma to the to the under lying tooth. Having pain after getting the temporary crown is not normal . You have to get it adjusted.
