I have a tooth that has broken off and one side of tooth is completely gone and after two weeks my whole left side of mouth is hurting and pain relievers dont help. Im in the middle of getting an approval for top dentures but the pain seems to be really bad then will ease up but doesnt ever completely go away

It seems that the crack has involved the root also. You should get it treated ASAP otherwise the condition can worsen. For time being take care of the following things:

  1. Avoid too hot or too cold beverages
  2. Avoid foods high in sugar or that are very acidic
  3. Use OTC medications to relive pain and inflammation
  4. Floss between the teeth that are cracked or broken
  5. Place cotton dipped in eugenol oil over the cracked tooth
  6. Sleep with your head elevated
  7. Do warm saline gargles
