An Ideal time to wait for normal gargling after using mouthwash in at least an hour. The reason being, more the time mouthwash is in mouth, more will be its effect on the oral bacteria. Also keep mouthwash for 30 seconds inside the mouth and rotate it to every nooks and corner of the oral cavity. After 30 seconds spit the liquid out and after an hour gargle with normal water.
