swollen gum after teeth extraction

had 12 teeth pulled on bottom 7 weeks ago the gum on right side on back is still swollen and can;t get my dentures when the dentist pulled them they had long roots on them-have try ice pack -head pad -tea bags-took round anb so it isn't infected what can I do

Some times if the roots of the teeth are very long or when the bone cutting has to be done for the extraction then the healing is delayed. Int hat case it can take upto 3 months for the extraction socket to heal and the swelling to go. keep doing warm saline rinses and maintain very good oral hygiene.
