Does a periapical radiolucency remain 4 weeks after a root canal?

If the radiolucency is big it takes time for the healing to take place. It gradually starts disappearing and it can be seen till after 6 months of the root canal treatment. Thje oresence of the radiolucency depends upon the size of the lesion .So yes it can be seen even after 4 months after getting the root canal treatment done.
