The American Academy of Periodontology will go on to host its 97th annual meeting in Miami Beach from November 12 to 15, 2011. Attendees can now go on to register for the event. The organization encourages all members of the dental team to come to this annual meeting in order to be able to learn about the latest advancements in periodontology.
This annual four-day meeting will include a variety of educational and scientific sessions which will go on to cover a wide variety of topics. This is a part of learning on dental implants, periodontal-systemic relationships, periodontal plastic and oral reconstructive surgery, regeneration and tissue engineering.
There are going to be several traditional continuing education courses, as well as hands-on workshops and clinical techniques that will be showcased. The annual meeting is going to be vast and will offer 60 educational and scientific sessions will be presented.

There are going to be several discussions on Innovations in Periodontics sessions, in which new concepts and techniques in periodontics will be discussed. There are several workshops based on dental insurance and how to go about with it. people who attend it will get to learn about how to submit appropriate procedure codes to dental benefit carriers, communicate with benefit carriers in adjudicating claims and file claims with medical plans. There will be more than 150 dental products and services that will be featured and complimentary attendee lunches will be offered at the annual meeting.
