 ADA Appoints New Executive Director

The American Dental Association Foundation Board of Directors has appointed Gene R. Wurth, J.D., MBA as the new executive director of the foundation. Sixty-year-old Wurth will now onwards go on to manage the ADAF, the charitable arm of the American Dental Association. This secures contributions and provides grants for dental research, education, access to oral healthcare. It provides dentists as well as patients with the right kind of assistance needed.

Mr. Wurth brings along with him a tremendous amount of valuable experience in fundraising and public relations and these very same skills are going to work as an asset to the ADAF which serves as a trusted resource for both those who want to help and for those in need.

Wurth most recently served as President and CEO of the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF), which raised more than $150 million for research and education during his 11-year tenure.
