NHS Campaign for Men Dental Health

There is a new campaign that has been adopted by the NHS in order to get more men to visit their dentist for regular check-ups. This new online campaign that has been rolled out by the NHS intended to motivate men to visit dentist has back fired. It has been labeled ‘coarse’ and ‘sensual’ and is very different from the usual campaigns of the NHS.

The importance of having a good breath especially when one is with a lover, forms the main theme of the advertisement. Immaculate white teeth and a sparkling smile are indeed attractive, and the advertisement truly plays up to these all important features.

The commercial is all about a vampire being told by a sexy looking female victim. The commercial goes like she is unable to tolerate his bad breath. The film was made after a survey conducted in Portsmouth showed that men between the ages of 16 and 35 do not visit their dentist regularly and therefore end up with far greater tooth decay then women.

The advertisement wants to have an impact wherein men will sit up, take notice and rethink about planning a trip to the dentist.
