A person in their lifetime will need dental procedures in order to maintain oral hygiene and keep their teeth and gums healthy. The usual procedures are preventive care, fillings, inlays, veneers, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, dentures and cosmetic surgery. The average dental costs for these procedures depends on several factors such as the state and locality you have it done at, the dental clinic and the dentist who will charge according to the expertise and experience.

  • CHERYL NEFF, it all depends upon cost of living. Higher the cost of living more will be the charges. The time when you had your crown, everything was comparatively cheaper but talking as of today the prices have really gone up exponentially. Be it petrol prices or daily product rates.

  • I would like to know why dental procedures cost so much. Several years ago I only had to pay a deductible of $50 for two crowns and a partial denture. Now, it costs thousands of dollars even with dental insurance. WHY???
