hi, im 14 and lately ive notice my top 4 teeth have been wiggling, alittle. so ive being brushing and rinsing alot, as well as flossing. im really scared and want to know if this is normal. and wen i floss, it goes up high on my gums, how high is the floss supposed to go? im really nervous. i do have an over bite and do clench my teeth at night. im gettin braces may 2nd if that helps.

  • At the age of 14 if the teeth are wiggling that too the adut teeth .it is not normal. little wiggling or mobility is normal as the teeth they are not fixed in the bone but suspended in the dental socket with the igamet. So if you really move them hard they will seem mobile. But you should try to maintain very good oral hygeine .Dental floss should clean the area between the teeth . it should not go high up in the gums otherwise it will irritate the gums.
