  • When the new dentures are given, somtimes minor bite adjustments have to be done and for that sometimes selective grinding of the teeth of the dentures has to be done so that the bite becomes comfortable. But if the discrepancy is more then it is not recommended to grind the teeth of the dentures and in that case new dentures have to be made or bite has to be adjusted in laboratory for denture making. If the teeth of the dentures are ground more then the cusps of the teeth will become flattened and the chewing efficiency of the dentures will decrease.
