Dr Ritz I have upper dentures and eight of my own teeth' one is a lower left molar the others are regular teeth' I had an xray of lower left molar and was told it was out of the jaw bone. If I get it extracted would I need a bone graf, tissue regeneration, alveoloplasty if I don't intend to get implants or dentures? Thanks Louis

  • if you do not want to replace the extracted tooth then there is no need for any thing. More soever it is difficult to commet with out seeing the X-ray or seeing the case clinically. The decision of bone grafting , tissue regeneration or alveoplasty is made depending upon the type of prosthesis you want.
