my canine/cuspid tooth was extracted when i was younger but it didn't develop a new one. There's a small white thing in my gum and i think it's a baby tooth. i am 15 years old now. is there still a chance of developing a new canine tooth?

  • White thing in the gum can be erupting adult canine tooth but this can be confirmed only after taking xray. You have not written whether the canine which was pulled out was baby tooth or adult tooth. If it was a baby tooth then there is chance of adult canine tooth to erupt even late which happens when there is lack of space. But if the adult tooth was pulled out which normally comes normally at age of 10-11 years then there is no chance that another canine tooth develops. So you have to visit your dentist and get xray done to find out whether canine tooth is there or not. For more info on dentition you can read this article...
