I have a wisdom tooth on the bottom jaw coming through, but it is partialy covered by the gum. It is very sore and i think it may be infected, how can i effectively clean the area without the use of a toothbrush.

  • If the wisdom tooth is partially covered by the gum amd is not coming out  and is painful then first of all visit the dentist and find out whether sufficient space is present ofr its eruption or not. if it is impacted that is the space is not enough then get it pulled out other wise you can do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day and use some good antimicrobial mouth wash. Clean that area very gently with soft tooth brush if it is very sore. for more info on wisdom teeth you can visit the followig link....www.identalhub.com/dental-knowing-all-about-wisdom-teeth-719.aspx
