I have a tiny piece of a tooth and it is throbbing. It has been throbbing for about 3 weeks now and I have been taking antibiotics for the 3 weeks. I dont go to the oral surgeon until next monday and the pain is unbearable I dont know what to do!

  • You have to get it pulled out by oral surgeon as it seems to be infected. As you are taking antibioics since last 3 weeks, it seems either you are not taking them as prescribed or the dosage is less otherwise antibiotics should be able to control pain by now. You can take pain killer along with antibiotics. You can try some warm saline rinses as these will help in draining out infection. If the pain is acute then you can go to ER or some emergency dentist and get antibiotics changed.
