i have a really bad toothache. i have tried takein tylenal and puttin orajel on it. but nothing seems to be helping the pain.

  • The tooth ache can be due to some gum or tooth decay. If it is due to tooth decay then along with pain killer you can put clove oil on that tooth which is available OTC as a home remedy but if it is due to gum problem then you can do warm saline rinses and due massage of gums with some gum paint. But it is always better to visit dentist and get diagnosis made after proper clinical examination. As you are pregnant you should take medicine under medical supervision. In your case it seems that there is infection, so you may have to take antibiotic along with pain killers. Your dentist will prescribe medicatin according to the diagnosis and which is safe for your.
