I woke up one morning and my gums behind my front teeth were swollen. It's been a week and they are still hurting bad. I brush my teeth 3 or 4 times a day and floss at least once a day, so I didn't think I could have a gum disease. And It only hurts behind my front teeth. Can u please help!?

  • The area behind the front teeth is very sensitive as there is a nerve passing through. You must have got the gums irritated either by eating something hard or some food might have got stuck in the gums. It takes time to heal and for this you have to do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day and maintain very good oral hygiene. Try not to irritate the gums further and for this you should not take something hard and sticky in food till the gums heal.
