MY CHILD IS SCHECULED FOR CAPS TO BE PUT ON TOMORROW, SHE WAS RUNNING A LOW FEVER A FEW DAYS AGO DUE TO A VIRUS. SHE IS BETTER KNOW AND I WANTED TO KNOW IS IT SAFE TO DO THIS PROCEDURE?

  • caps are and can be very painful , my 6 yr old had them done today and its common for them to have screaming pain due to the fact that caps are put in "below" the gums .

  • Putting caps on teeth of children is a safe procedure and it is not painful also. So if the child is fully recovered and is not irritated or feeling low then you can safely go for this procedure but the cooperation of child is needed in the procedure. So go for the caps only if the child is ready to get the treatment done and feel fully recovered.
