Pain for 1-2 days after dental filling is normal. After dental filling, it takes 1-2 days for filling to settle. Jaw pain can be because of keeping the mouth open for quite a long time during the procedure. It can also be because of some high point on dental filling. As of now, you can take pain meds for some pain relief. You can take Tylenol. It is safe during pregnancy. If pain is severe, then your can visit your dentist for evaluation. He will check that whether the bite is fine or not. If there is some high point on dental filling, then selective grinding can be done to correct it. Avoid eating from that side of tooth.
