i went to the dentist for an infected tooth the dentist recommended that i get it extracted and then get braces to close the space so i went to a free consultation and the orthodontist told me i can do it but would have to have a total of two teeth pulled plus any other cavaties ect done before putting on braces my question is if i have the two teeth pulled do i need to have the braces put on right away or can i wait until i have more money saved

  • if you need ortho treatment then you have to get the two teeth extracted instead of one as if only one tooth is extracted there will be midline shift. And yes you have to get the braces put soon after the extraction like you can wait for one or two week not more.
