for the last 2 ish days, on my lower right gum below two teeth, I have noticed 3 small white, flat 'dots' that are sore when touched. Just wondering what this could be, and if I need to see a dentist or doctor?

  • With out seeing the case clnically it is very difficult to diagnose the problem. It can be because of the infectin in the gums. or it can be because of the infected tooth. If it is because of the infected tooth then the teeth will be showing some sort of decay and there wil be pain in the teeth. it can be the canker sore also. If it is canker sore then they are self limiting and heals with in 7 to 10 days but they are quite painful. Most lkely it is because of infected gums and for that you should visit the dentist. You can do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day . It really helps.
