  • After mouth surgery it is common to have pain in surgery area for a week. He should follow all the instructions given by dentist and take all the meds precribed by dentist. He should not try to irritate the surgical part and take soft food diet which he does not have to chew much. He can try warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day as these really help. If the pain does not subside even after a week then he should go to the dentist.
