  • Bleeding gums are because of inflammation in the gums and that is mainly due to poor oral hygiene and deposits on teeth. For this with regular brushing and flossing you need 6 monthly cleaning from dentist. Smoking can aggrevates he gingival problems but is not the only cause of gum disease. Now you have to schedule an appointment with dentist and get deep cleaning done. Along with brushing and regular flossing you can do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day and can massage your gums with some gum paint available otc. Vitamin C supplements also help.
