i have mild tooth decay on my lower teeth. how can i prevent it to becoming severe?

  • If the decay is very mild there is no catch point or cavitation i.e if the lesion is incipient lesion, that can be remineralised by using flouridated toothpaste and flouridated mouth rinses and maintaining very good oral hygiene. But if cavity is there then you have to go to dentist for filling done so that it does not increase. After that to prevent secondary caries you need to maintain very good oral hygiene and go for 6 monthly checkups.
