  • Pain in bottom teeth can be because of gum or tooth infection in relation to bottom teeth. Deep dental cavity or abscess in relation to bottom teeth can cause infection in teeth and pain. Plaque and calculus deposits in relation to teeth or recession of gums can also lead to teeth sensitivity and soreness. Without clinical examination, it is difficult to give definite diagnosis. If pain is because of caries in teeth, then you need to get dental restoration done. If tooth abscess is reason for pain and sensitivity, then root canal treatment followed by dental crown will be required. In case of periodontal problems and plaque and calculus deposits present around teeth, dental cleaning and or periodontal surgery will be required. You have to visit your dentist for treatment. By the time you visit your dentist, you can use a desensitizing tooth paste to reduce sensitivity and maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly. You can also use a mouth wash. Applying orajel over site may also provide some relief. For more info on dental pain, refer to….   http://www.identalhub.com/article_why-dental-pain-or-toothache-87.aspx
