i have these bumps in the back of my tongue the dont hurt it just feels like i have something stuck in my throat every time i swallow what could it be

  • It is difficult to comment on what these bumps are on the back of your tongue without clinical examination and detailed history. It can be because of tonsillitis or swollen   circumvallate papillae which are present at the back of the tongue. It can also be because of infection in the throat or some infectious back tooth. Allergy to some food stuffs can also cause swelling. You can do warm saline rinses which may provide some relief.  Maintain a good oral hygiene to prevent any infections.  Consult your dentist so that he can diagnose the exact cause of lumps on your tongue. If the dentist is not able to diagnose, then you can consult your physician.
