Hi Im a 24 yr old male and I have TMJ, popping and grinding of right side of jaw. I also have a venous angioma, malformation of blood vessels in brain. I have been suffering from 24/7 moderate chronic head and neck pain for 5 years now and its becoming debilitating. My neurologist says its not the angioma and potentially the TMJ causing the pain. Ive had a splint and it didnt help. Ive been on different meds for the pain, tramadol, phrenilin, and a few narcotics. My neurologist will not prescribe the narcotics but its the only thing that has helped. Is there any other treatments out there that a dentist may be able to suggest?
