  • It is normal to have pain for 2-3 days after Root Canal Treatment as the tooth takes time to settle down. There cannot be any dry socket because dry socket is after the extraction of tooth in extraction socket. In Root Canal Treatment, if failure is there, then there can be pain and swelling but that is not immediately after Root Canal Treatment. Make sure, the filling is not high and if it is high then you have to get it adjusted from dentist who will do the selective grinding otherwise avoid eating from that side and maintain very good oral hygiene. Keep taking the meds precribed by your dentist and the pain will start decreasing within a day or two.
