I am 3 months pregnant and my bottom gums are swollen, torn, and bleeding. My bottom teeth are also loose. What would need to be done or would I be able to get sugery?

  • All these problems are due to harmonal changes in pregnancy. If you had mild problem before pregnancy then these problems get aggravated during pregnancy due to harmonal changes. This is called pregnancy gingivitis and for this you have to visit a dentist to get cleaning done. No surgery is required at this stage and maintain very good oral hygiene. Take extra care of your gums. This condition will settle down with time after pregnancy.
