my tooth hurts everytime i swollow its my back tooth and its my perminent teeth

  • Pain on swallowing can be there because of infected back tooth or can be there because of wisdom tooth eruption. Gum infection in relation to back tooth can also lead to pain on swallowing. It can also be a referred pain. Without clinical examination, it is difficult to give definite diagnosis. You can visit your dentist for evaluation and treatment.  If there is infected back tooth present, then root canal treatment will be required for infected tooth. Impacted wisdom tooth can lead to swelling of the gums and jaws and cause pain. If there is impacted wisdom tooth present, then surgical extraction can be done for the impacted wisdom tooth.
