have absessed tooth currently on antibiotics and hydrocodone. pain from tooth is gone but now my gums and jaw are swelling and in tremendous pain what could it be and maybe some remodies that can help stop the pain. swishing water in my mouth is the only relief i can get

  • The swelling and pain is due to the infection which is acute. though you have started taking antibiotics but it takes time for the antibiotics to act. They start reducing swelling and pain after 3 days of taking the antibiotics. Some times it takes more time depending upon the severity of the condition.
