I have a front veneer that keeps coming off. I've already had to replace it twice. It's fallen off again and broke. Can I suggest to a NEW dentist to put a crown on it instead? Will an insurance company pay for a crown for that purpose? The front tooth is bad due to the procedure for the veneer. How different will the crown tooth look from my other veneers?

  • If Veneer is coming out time and again then the reason can be insufficient tooth support or the preparation of the tooth has some problem. You can go for the crown but whether insurance company reimburse it or not depends upon the type of insurance Normally the treatment for esthetic purposes are not covered. The crown wil not look different from the other veneer if the matching is good.
