This morning my top wisdom tooth felt like it had something in it. When I ran my tongue across it, a piece of tooth broke off. It is now rough and not entirely painful, but feels as though it is getting worse. I have no dental insurance. Is this something that needs to be taken care of immediately?

  • If a piece of the wisdom tooth is broken and it is rough , it can injure your tongue and cheek which can be very painful. This tooth can also become infected . it is better to get it pulled out as it is not needed for the chewing and saving it is quite difficult. If you do not have an insurance then you can go to some dental school near by and get the treatment done.
