  • You have not mentioned the age of your son . The age will tell whether it is the baby tooth or the adult tooth. Mostly the front tooth becomes grey becaue of some trauma in case of chlidren. Because of trauma the pulp tissue slowly becomes necrosed and the tooth becomes grey in colour. Some times in case of baby teeth it can be because of decay also. But if it is because  of decay other teeth are also invoved and moresoever you can see the decayed part. The treatment also varies oFr treatment the age and the cause of discoloration has to be considered. If it is the adult tooth and is discoloured due to trauma then root canal treatment is the option. for more info on children dentistry you can visit the following link.... www.identalhub.com/article_caries-and-children-228.aspx
