My daughter is 7 and has not lost any teeth yet but one of her front teeth is loose. The problem is that both of her permanent teeth are coming in behind the others and we still have not been able to pull the loose tooth. Can this cause a problem with the perm teeth by them coming in so quickly and not loosing the baby teeth?

  • at the age of 7, the baby teeth are usually gone.. they are pushed out by the permanent teeth.if this is not happening.. getting them removed will be a good option than going for braces later on...

  • If the adult tooth is coming and baby tooth hasn't fallen out then these sort of baby teeth are called retained teeth. These baby teeth should be pulled out by dentist so that adult teeth can come into normal position in dental arch. If the baby teeth are not pulled out then these can cause problems in alignment of adult teeth. Normally the baby teeth fall out itself before adult teeth come but now days it is common to have retained baby teeth. It is always better to get them pulled them from dentist if they donot fall themself. So take you baby to dentist for getting them pulled out.
