Its been 2 months after a root canal. HOWEVER I still have a very slight dull ache n that tooth. I have seen the (specialist) dentist in root cananls and she has reassured me that everything is fine. HOWEVER she did not do a exray when i went back and complaioned about styill having pain. So isnt that strange? Why didnt she do another exray she said the one after the procedure was good enough and it would not show anything new after 2 months so idk she assures me its ok BUT how can she know for sure without a exray?? Is it common to have a slight dull ache and just a plain (werd feeling) in that tooth? is all this normal?? Im just so confused I have wasted so much time and money and gas on going back to this so called (specilaist) dentist and I still hurt and i still have a slight pain in that tooth I cant afford to keep going back What should i do just forget about it? Is all this normal to have after a root canal 2 months afterwards?? Im so confused I just know something is not right with this tooth it just plaoins feels weird BUT the (specialist) assures me it is fine. What do i do is all this normal??

  • Some times when the ainfection is more then it takes around 3 months for the tooth to heal completely and the pain to go. and if any thing wrong is there then that will also be showig in X-ray after some time. You can wait for another month and start chewing from that side. You can start with soft things. If the pain is there even after three months or it increases then you can insist for the X-ray.
