My 8month girl has 3 molars that have come through, not fully though. She has no signs of getting any of her front teeth. She is finding it difficult to sleep, and not wanting to drink her bottles. Do I take her to see a dentist or should I wait. Also how long does it take for the molars to be fully out, so we both can get some sleep.

  • It is very unlikely that molars are coming in at age of 8 monhts and that too before the front teeth have come. Normally the lower front teeth are the first one to erupt and at the age of 6-7 months. Definately you should take her to dentist who will do clinical exam and xray to find out what is causing the irriation to your child. For more info on dentition you can read this article.....
