I had a crown that was too high and they shaved a little off and now the side they did that my face and mouth is numb

  • when the crown is high , it is normal procedure to do the selective grinding to adjust the occlusion. The selective grinding is done to adjust the occlusion so that the tooth becomes comfortable. The numbness of the face and the mouth can not be explained. You can go to the dentist who has adjusted the crown and find out the cause. May be some other tooth is infected which is causing the numbness.
