  • For this, first of all you should follow all instructions given by your dentist like not to use straw or anything which causing sucking action and creates negative pressure in mouth for atleast 3-4 days after wisdom tooth extraction. This is important as these things can dislodge the clot formed on wisdom tooth extraction site. After 24 hours of extraction you can start doing warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day gently as this will speed up your healing. Maintain very good oral hygiene by brushing twice and you can also use some good antimicrobial mouthwash also. Try to speak mininmum as it is your wisdom tooth which is at the end of jaw near joint and keeping taking your meds prescribed by your dentist.
