I have cavity in a teeth next to the wisdom teeth, as per the Dentist I need to remove my wisdom teeth although there is nothing wrong with the wisdom teeth. As per my destist they cannot put crown on the teeth where they need to do the Root Canal because of wisdom. I dont understand this to remove my teeth which has nothing wrong in it. what should I do?

  • If the wisdom tooth is not impacted and the angulation is correct then there is no need to get it extracted for putting crown on the tooth which is adjacent to it. You can take a second opinion as without clinical examination, I cannot give a definate diagnosis but if there is no problem in wisdom tooth then there is no indication for pulling it out.
