I recently had strep throat and as soon as I got it, my tongue turned white and i have red sores that burn and are very painful on my tongue. I do not drink, smoke or do drugs so it can't be related to that. It is very hard to eat because of the pain. What is wrong with my tongue and what can i buy to help cure it?

  • The lesions on the tongue is because of the infection in the throat. So do not worry When your throat will be fine the tongue lesions will also go. Mean while maintain very good oral hygeine so that secondary infection is not there. Brush twice and rinse after every meal. Use some good antimicrobial mouthwash. If the problem does not subside then you can visit your dentist.
